Cyclical Variation {2024}
Cyclical Variation includes interactive installation, animation, and experimental videos. This project reflects on the fluctuation of cultural trends along with formation and deformation of main culture and sub culture. With the application of cultural sybols from different civilizations, to visualize the possible cultural trend pattren.
Since the fashion trend seems to be cycilical, so does the cultual trend. People’s “styles” are changing all the time, from triditional to modern, from ordinary to queer. When one trend reaches the peak, it shall decline and gredually replaced by another one. The project tends to focus on the cyclical changes and reveal philsophism in it.
An installation including components above, mainly use balloons to indicate the cyclical variation.
